In the case of infants and special requirements, it is important that providers are flexible and skilled enough to change planned activities according to the needs of the infant. Infants are not to be expected to stick to a planned routine. It's more of an on demand setting.

Some special requirements for infants and toddlers are that the you have to have a back up plan for your day because they can't be expected to follow a routine at this age, you need to base the activities on the child and how they are doing that day.

Some special requirements for infants and toddlers in an early learning environment are providing several objects and toys that are cleanable, nontoxic and cannot cause a chocking hazard. The environment should be safe and provide opportunities for freedom of movements and exploration. It is necessary to respond quickly to their cries and signs of distress. Additionally, it is important to provided materials for small and large muscle development as well as objects containing a variety of textures. Infants and toddlers are learning about the world through their five senses so it is important to provide material that will help them explore and learn more about themselves and the world around them.

Some of the special requirements for infant and toddlers in an early learning environment is to provide toys that are fit for their age group and needs. You also need to remember to clean the materials that you provide to keep the environment safe and if something gets broken take the toy away immediately to prevent any injury.

Being well organized and having a lot of patience, infants and toddlers can be unpredictable. Having a variety of toys that will keep them occupied. Putting together a daily schedule and being flexible with it.

with infants and toddlers i feel it is particularly important to maintain a routine while being understanding of the fact that things may not always go accordingly with this age. Flexibility and patience is very important.

Its important when working with young children in the infant and toddler stages to provide toy that are age appripriate. Such as non choke able (any object small enough to fit through a toilet paper roll ) shouldn't be placed inside the classroom environment. Its also important to keep children and care professional in ratio which is 7 kids to 1 adult. the care provider should be mobile and flexible within their environment to keep the children entertained and involved in their learning .

Make sure the learning environment is safe for the children to play around in and have no small or toxic toys around that could possibly harm the child.

Special requirements for infants and toddlers include being well organized but flexible with your daily schedule, as they can be unpredictable and unlikely to follow any schedule set by anyone other than themselves. Infants and toddlers are learning about the world through their five senses so it is important to provide material that will help them explore and learn more about themselves and the world around them. They must not have access to have access to toys that are small enough to swallow or choke on, or any toxic substances, and everything they can touch or play with should be clean-able. Additionally, it is important to provided materials for small and large muscle development as well as objects containing a variety of textures and colors. The child-adult ration should never exceed 7-1.
