When thinking about the materials and toys and activities for the children, it's important to keep in mind their age range and each individuals needs and abilities. The best way to do this is by having an observation period where the teacher sets up activities and observes the children to see where they are in their skills and development. From there it'll be easier to determine the toys they may consider and the activities they have in mind that will provide growth for all the children. Some examples could be, simple books to books with a couple sentences per page, puzzles of different shapes, sizes and number of pieces, etc.
