Ideals and Principles section can be used as a guide to help you make tough decisions that come up in your work. The Statement of Commitment lists the fundamental moral obligations of a professional working in the field of early childhood care and education.

Yes the NAEYC can help me as a professional. Everyone has their idea and opinion on what professionalism is based on what their past jobs and experiences has been, with the NAEYC their code of ethics, principles and standards are based on years of research, studies, observations, and surveys done with a lot of different ethnic groups in Early Childhood Education.
