Yes. It is necessary to have a daily routine and schedule with the children in your care. Children feel safe when there is a schedule and routine that's followed. They may not be able to tell time, but the know what to expect. For example, after lunch we have story time, and then we take a nap. After nap we use the bathroom and wash up for snack, Having a routine with children promotes security.
