The family needs to know they can trust those who take care of their children, and keep their children's records confidential. Children also don't always understand when they over hear a grown up conversation, and if they interpret something they overheard wrong, it could cause hem to feel negative about themselves, or about another child. When Confidential information is shared carelessly it can get back to parents, breaking that trust.

Confidentiality is so serious because it can create a whole string of negative effects for example: Conflicts with other family members, trust between all involved with the child, it is the bond between the caregiver and the parents. It solidifies the respect that the parents hold with the care facility.

Confidentiality is important because it works hand in hand with trust. Families place their children in your care because they believe that their children and their family is safe as a whole. Some of the negative responses to violating confidentiality are breaking the family's trust, losing the trust of other coworkers and families due to violating confidentiality. Depending on how severe the violation, it would also put your job at risk.

it is extremely important to follow strict rules of confidentiality. It is expected in our day to have a trustworthy policy for privacy in effect in any trusted company. Parents are trusting you with the care of their children. This includes keeping all observations of their children safely confidential. We have highly competitive organizations that some parents might want to get their children in. It is important that all documentation is kept confidential.

Confidentiality is important to protect the child and family to negative stereotype from others/peers if someone should overhear a conversation with others. This is very important in any situation that family place their loved ones with caregivers. The parents in our caase entrust their child to us and expect us to keep their information private and it could break that trust.
