The High Scope Preschool COR is intriguing to me. Some good things about it are that it specifically focuses on the children's development and helps the teachers recognize when a child has grasped a new ability. However, it relies heavily on anecdotal notes, and therefore is dependent on the memory of the teacher. If a teacher does not remember something, then the notes will be lacking compared to assessments that are actively taken as the event is occurring.
