All children have different backgrounds, temperaments, and learning styles. Observation an getting to know each individual in your classroom is the first step in becoming effective in your planning for activities and lesson plans. Through observation you can make a guess at the problems you could encounter with certain projects with certain children and come up with accommodations to meet the needs of those that may need extra help then the rest of the children in your class. Gaining the knowledge of the children in your care will aid in preparation and effectiveness in caring for them and making sure they reach their milestones.
