I would want the Guidance Policies to mainly focus on the program's positive approach to guidance and that the program strictly prohibits any form cruel, harmful, unusual, frightening or hazardous actions.

If I were writing a guidance policy I would want it to show all of the program's positive approaches and to highlight that dangerous, harmful and unusual action will not be allowed.

I would want my guidelines to state procedures in how to deal with certain situations, my program rules and academic structure, and what to do in emergence situations.

If I were to write a guidance policy I would make sure to state about the prevention and prohibition of any person in the facility to use cruel, unusual, hazardous, frightening or humiliating discipline (Including: corporal punishment, verbal abuse, using or withholding of food or drink, physical restraint). Moreover, I would also emphasize the importance of the use of positive responses and state the program’s positive approach to guidance.

The guidance policy I would write would contain the following:
1. We talk respectfully to each other, staff and children alike 2. There will be no cruel or unusual or food related punishment 3. We will use redirection and positive reinforcement to highlight the do's instead of the don'ts 4. We will use age and developmentally appropriate techniques to encourage good behavior

The policies that I want to write is about parents and teachers policies for example, respect one another while dealing a conflicts, no swearing in the facility, Saying Hi and Goodbye is a must. Parents and teacher need to build positive open relationship for the sake of young children.
