1. cords on the blinds should not be in a continuous loop and should not be tied together as kids could strangle themselves on it. 2. playground bark/pea gravel must be the required depth. 3. furniture should be attached to the wall so it doesn't fall on children.

Locks Working telephone Screens and windows Safe water and water play Fences and playground surfaces Ventilation and temperature requirements Animals, fish or pets Exits, Stairs, and Decks Shelving and portable furniture Radon, chemicals, lead and arsenic exposure Electrical outlets Shielded light bulbs Glass doors and windows

Some safety standards include: holding drills for fire or lock down safety washing hands before handling food having first aid kits prepared and accessible sanitizing toys and equipment that the children use (chairs/tables) making sure that cleaners are out of reach of children
All of these safety standards are for the health and safety of the children

Fences must enclose a play area so children cannot escape and unwanted visitors cannot get in.
During the winter months, the temperature must be kept between 68-75 degrees and in the summer months, the temperature must be kept between 68-82 degrees.
