Teachers need to spend time learning about each child in their classroom. They need to learn about each child's unique characteristics, as well as their family dynamics. In the begging of the school year teachers should meet with the family and child one on one to get to know them. Ask them questions and have then describe life at home. Knowing all the parents names will be helpful and it shows you care.
