Professionalism is the manner in which one carries themselves in various situations. An "occupation" refers to what a person does for a living whereas a "profession" can go far beyond a job and refer to what a person has studied and chosen to dedicate their passion towards in life.

An occupation is a job. A profession is a job where you've received schooling, to master the skills of that job.
