Work Place Hazard/Vomit

Whenever there is a workplace hazard I loudly say to the children "STOP! LOOK!LISTEN"! to

get their attention then I give instructions about safety, such as; please sit down, and stay on

the other side of this table while I clean the vomit off the floor...other teacher attends to th

to the child that vomitted.

Well done TPisoni. I am glad we can call the trained cleaning personnel for larger bodily fluids spills, in our center. We are very busy in the infant room to drop everything and take care of cleaning. We also have to keep bleach and toxic cleaning products locked up.
Furthermore, as PPE we have only the gloves, I wish we could be provided by aprons and gaggles. Our babies are really good on spilling vomit and, at times, urine, all over our clothing.
