Describe the Listen, Limit, Listen process. Which step is toughest for you?
I think knowing exactly when to limit would be hard. You want to wait for them to make the right choice but sometimes children can't help but be irrational.

It's tough to continue to listen because in a tantrum my first instinct is to give their body space.

The final step of listening when they are crying, yelling, or throwing a tantrum because if they aren't able to speak until they calm down then it feels futile to be listening.

The hardest step for me in Listen, Limit and Listen varies with certain children at the school. The listening part is obviously hard when a child is crying or trying to calm down from being upset. The limit can be difficult too with certain kids that i work with. I have had to physically remove a child away from others because of being violent and then the child just starts lashing out on me and gets even more upset from being removed.
