Records are kept in several places in our center. The director has copies of all records in the office. We keep meal records, attendance, injury reports and information about the child in our classroom binder. We also have each child's file kept in a safe location in the classroom.

The records should be kept a secure location that is easily accessible to the teacher such as in a binder that is kept with the teacher on a regular basis or in the office in a filing cabinet where the teacher can access the files.
