I prefer the Child Skills Checklist because it is simple and straightforward. It includes many of the milestones that children are supposed to reach and allows for elaboration. Unfortunately, if a child deviates from the normal checklist, it does not allow much space for elaboration.

Which of the three tools discussed do you prefer? State the pros and cons.
I prefer the Child Skills Checklist because I like how it is organized and focused on individual progress.
The Checklist provides a place for direct observation to be recorded and categorizes evidence according to developmental milestones. However, there is a possibility that some of the evidence could overlap and because of the categorical system, that information may not be recorded properly.
