1. What are milestones and why are they important?
Milestones are distinct skills that are expected to be reached by a certain age. They are important because they are direct indicators of a child's development and are able to show where a child may be requiring special assistance or support in order to reach these milestones if they are developmentally delayed.
2. What are red flags?
Red flags are indicators that children are not meeting their milestones and are indicative of a need for further assessment so that the child is able to find the proper supportive resources needed in order to lead a happy and healthy life.
