Yes Diapering practices are different at home and the child care centres. At home we wash hands before and after diapering. At the child care centre we wash hands and wear gloves. We generally don't sanitize and disinfect the surface after every diaper change at home but we do that at the childcare centre.

yes very different. my center requires a 19 step diaper change. as a parent i would change a diaper so quickly it would probably only take about a minute, while at the center its 5 minutes to complet a diaper change and to complete the table cleaning to get ready for next child.

Yes, parents change diapers differently at home. Because they don’t have to use rules or policies.

Yes, the procedure for diaper changing is different at home from at the childcare facility. At the childcare facility, more steps to ensure germs do not spread are implemented. Gloves are worn at school, whereas most parents do not wear gloves when changing their children's diapers.

What I find to be the most noticable difference is hoe many sprays you have to use to properly sanitize it. Such as the soapy water, then just water and bleach I understand why we do it that way at the childcare center but it's not something I do at home.

Yes it is different. For us at work we wear gloves if we need to and also bleach and sanitize and expose of diapers right away. At home one wouldn't wear gloves and probably doesn't sanitize are daily and most likely has a dirty diaper pail.

yes it is very different. for us we have to wear gloves and then spray the table down with soap, water, bleach and expose the diaper right away. At home I use to lay my child on floor and change him/her then threw away diaper with out wearing gloves at all.

Yes. There are more regulations on cleaning. We have to clean surfaces between each change, wash our hands in between diapers, and use gloves.
