Each child has a different set of needs and ways of interacting with the world. Some children are outgoing and boisterous, some are shy and a bit more introspective. My 3 year old daughter has always been a bit shy in a group but when alone, she sings dances and is very imaginative. Fostering her individual need to have extra alone time and easing her into group situations has allowed her to blossom.
