First of all, it is very important to take the time to get to know each family and talk daily about how the children are doing. Having consistent meetings and allowing for open conversation about the children and how to best support them is a good start. Sending out monthly emails to all parents that have to do with child development can give them access to more information. Just making sure that all families know you are open to conversation and more than willing to help give the children what they need can give tremendous encouragement.
