I would say probably keeping an eye on the temperate of prepared foods. As others have said, when you have a class full of children at lunch it can be difficult to juggle all the children's questions and needs while also juggling the many health requirements for food handling and preparation.

I agree. Monitoring temperatures can be especially difficult when classes eat at different times.

The most difficult part of handling food being prepared for children is ensuring that it is not too hot for them to eat but also not so cold that it is no longer safe for them to eat according to health standards.

At our center we have a person who cooks so it is their job to ensure that the food is safe and meets the regulations.

What I have trouble with is making sure that the the food reaches the safe temperature before removing it from the oven and it's difficult to no have the kids touch the food before it has been served.

We have someone at my work who prepares the snacks for both classrooms and the children bring their own lunches. The hardest for my job is making sure that the student who is vegan is not eating foods that non vegan.

I think the most difficult parts include food temperature and gloves. It is difficult to serve certain types of food with gloves.
