I would prefer to use the Child Skills Checklist because it is so easy for a caregiver to use. Sometime, it can be hard for a caregiver to find time to fill out expansive assessments when they have so many children. This checklist is so straight forward, providing a lists of behavioral and developmental milestones. The list requires that a caregiver provide examples of a child exhibiting the specified behavior, so it is still a helpful tool when talking to parents or administration about a child’s development.
