Discussion 1.1: When people want to make connections. ...How do they act? How do they talk? How do they listen? In what ways is this culturally embedded?W
I believe it depends on the variety of things like age, their culture, their temperament and so on. But what is very common to be seen is, when someone want's to make a connection with you, they will try to either make multiple eye contacts with you, spend a large amount of time being in the area where you are. Ask questions. They tend to listen more carefully, as if they are very interested. They may talk quietly if they are shy, or be open and talk about their favorite toy. It is embedded in the culture, because for many cultures its considered appropriate to act by shy and reserved, they it depends on their up bringing and their cultural traditions.
