Infants: Infants need tummy time, help standing on there feet and help to roll over. Children are completely depended on someone to take care of them and teach them. It is crucial that each child gets each of of these needs, as well as more, to help them get to the next stage.
Toddlers: Toddlers are a handful. They like to explore and test the waters. It is crucial for them to learn speech, hand-eye coordination and how to play with others. It is important that they get the time they need to learn these things. Flash cards, playgrounds, sports...all of these are great ways for children to know how to develop.
PreSchoolers: By this age, they are understanding right and wrong and learning what they need to learn to get to school. They should be potty trained by this point, able to feed themselves with utensils and have friends. The most important thing to give this age group is structure. They are learning how to become there own person and its easy for them to slip back into the stages they were at as a toddler so it is crucial that they learn.
School Ages: This age, they know right from wrong. They know what needs to be done and they know how to do most things. They also have a lot of energy and have a hard time getting a lot of it out. Its important at this age for them to do a lot of interacting with friends and outside time. They have such big imaginations and are able to get all of that out when they play at parks with friends or at day cares or even school.
