Getting to know someone is hard. You have to ask the uncomfortable questions and answer them as well. However, being kind is the easiest thing around. Here's is a huge news flash...EVERYONE wants to be around a kind person. EVERYONE wants to know that they matter and that there children matter or even there spouse. When I take care of a child, I make sure that they see me interacting with there child and that they know that I care. I had a time where I had the choice to get angry at a child or to teach the a lesson. I decided to pull them aside and work with them and get the problem resolved, whatever it was that day, at least. Right at that moment, his mother walks in and she pulled me aside and thanked me for taking the time to work with him and that he has been using my techniques at home.
Now, lets me honest. There are those people who thrive on drama or anger. It's extremely important to know these types of people. They are the ones you show the most happiness to. You have no idea what is going on in other peoples lives. Some people have not been in this country for a long time or even have citizenship. Some are mixed race or a different race then yourself. Some are very poor and some are very rich. It is extremely important to be accepting of all of these but to also understand them. Teaching our children to work hard and love people for who they are is what will make this world a much better place.
I will always look on the inside of myself and bring out the wonderful things that I can do. I can help others, teach children and always put a smile on. Diversity is always going to be there but what you bring with you after you die is WHO you were, not WHAT you were or WHAT you HAD.
