I face this daily especially with my own child, when he wont stop crying or wont let me have a second of peace, I sometimes just have to set him down, take 10 steps away, do 30 seconds of concentrate breathing, and just let myself get rid of all the frustration. It's really hard sometimes to have patience with a child but it's so so important that you don't get frustrated with them, as you are their safe place.

At times, all parents and or caregivers have felt at times tested to their limits. But sometimes parents and or caregivers can feel out of control and have trouble controlling their emotions and reactions. They can be worn down by personal, emotional, medical or financial problems, and feel they can’t care for children properly. Dealing with a child that displays challenging behavior can be tough, it can also stretch a care givers patience and their capacity to cope. And so, if a caregiver loses their temper and lash out in anger verbally or physically they risk harming your child, even if you don’t mean to.
