There isn't a toughest step for me. Although, in some rare cases, the last step might not really be necessary, such as when a child chooses to do something he/she knows he/she shouldn't. One case that I can think of was a 3-year-old who was eventually diagnosed with a disorder. She hit and literally bit chunks out of her classmates, and considered it "fun." After a certain point, she could repeat what she expected to hear in the last listening step. However, if I recall, we still went through it.
