A partnership is a relationship where both parties are equal and respect each others individual strengths. It is important because the child needs a sense of continuity in their learning between school and home. When both educators and families are on the same page it benefits the child.

I agree. Partnerships demand both parties to have the same interests: the child's development, health, and happiness. Partnerships are important for providers so that they are confident about the impact they are making on children's lives. Without continuity between parents and childcare providers, children's development can suffer.

I think a partnership is founded on mutual trust and respect. Where both parties feel that the information or ideas that they provide will be heard and valued. Partnerships are important for providers because they need to work in tandem with families to provide the best care possible for children.

Partnerships provide more resources and understanding because there is open communication. Whether it be a partnership between teachers or between the teacher and the parent these relationships help build trust, development better practices, and creates a positive environment.

Partnership shows a mutual trust and respect. It is open to constructive criticism in order to further develop and grow.
