By brining our knowledge of the developmental continuum, regular milestones, and techniques for teaching executive functioning into the classroom and making it readily available for both students and parents. We can support them by getting to know them and creating and continuity of information and procedures for the child between home and school. Only by knowing the child and their family on a personal level can we make sure the class room and curriculum are culturally and developmentally appropriate. It also allows us to become aware of any red flags early and alert families. Address their questions and concerns.
