My classroom is one of our opening rooms in the morning, so what I do to make it warm and inviting for parents and children at drop off, I always make sure my room is set up for the children to play in, I welcome each child by their name as they come into the classroom. When I have a new child starting I have hanging on the door a Welcome sign with the new child's name and then ill add " To Discovery Preschool From all Your new friends", and I'll write each child's name, and then we will have a Cubby ready for the child, this is something parents love to see. Another way to make the classroom more welcoming to Co-workers is by having a good relationship with them, and asking for advice or help when you need it, sharing info that they would need to know about any child they have that may have been dropped off with you in the morning and that the parents ask you to pass along.
