Families provide the initial values and moral direction of children. We offer instruction in language and other academic skills, but it is in the families that children develop many of the more important life skills.

The parents are the ones who set the foundation in their children's life, values, morals, cultural, etc. and we, the caregivers, need to get to know the parents in order to learn each child's family background to be able to assist the family with educating their children.

parents are children's first exposure to Principles an Values also culture. As caregivers or providers we need to observe the families we work with so we can help educate their children, because every family is different. Because if we don't know anything about the families or child it's a little harder for us to observe and get an idea where there coming from.

Parents are central to the development of their children. They are responsible for a good deal of the moral education of their children. This does not change, all families are responsible for the education of the child

Families are the primary educators of their children because they are the ones the children see the most and interact with. Families are there for the children when they have questions or are going through all sorts of emotions. By being the primary educator the children learn first hand from their own family, which makes learning all the more fun.

In general, a child's family is the only thing they really interact with for the most part of the beginnings of their lives. Children walk around imitating what they see. Whatever the child sees old family members doing they are likely to repeat.

Families are the primary educator of their children because of the time spent and influence they have over them. From birth, children develop an intimate relationship with their parents that is difficult to replicate at childcare facilities. Nonetheless, it is essential for teachers and caregivers to be attentive and understand how children respond to adult action.

I think as early childhood educators that our job is to work together with families to give young children a good foundation for becoming successful people. The time that they spend outside of my classroom is just as important in shaping their experience. Since their families are a part of their environment they play a huge role in their education.

The families are primary educators because they are the only constant in a child's life. They raise them, live in their home, and will be with them much longer than the 6 months-1 year I am with my students.
