Keep records of child's progress to show parents. Schedule conferences often to discuss child's progress. Keep samples of child's work. Then spend time chatting informally so parents feel at ease.

Ask parents discretely if you could have a chat with them about their child's growth and development in the classroom. schedule meetings or address them at pick up time, show parents records of the child's progress. Then proceed to talk about what they would like to work on or how to maintain their child's progress so they can move up
