As a teacher, it is important for us to know each of our children's names, and know what things they like and dislike. One way for this to happen is talking to the child or talking to the child's parents, we as teacher see the child more in the day then some parents do, so it is our job to make sure that child know who we are and that we can help them when they need it. Sometimes it is hard for teachers to get some one-on-one time with the parents because either they are in a hurry, or if you the teacher is by your self and has to watch the rest of the classroom, it can be tricky to so the parent your attention but as well as the rest of the children in the room. But by finding ways to be able to talk to your parents is not, you can do care calls to the parents when they r not busy at work, to find out more of what they as parents would like to happen with their child's education, or another was is by filling out My Day Forms, these forms are here to help us has teachers to talk with parents who we may not get to see at pick-up or at drop-off, it states of then what we did as a class, what child ate for lunch, sometime on them there is a spot of all the diaper changes, if the child is not potty trained.
