Once you have observed the child and taken time to reflect you can understand where they are on the continuum in each developmental domain. This allows you to plan activities and observations that will scaffold the child's knowledge and allow them to continue along the continuum while building their executive functions. Further more it will allow you to do this in a way that responds to the child's individual needs.

Using the Observation that the care taker has taken Note of should reflect on what they can provide for the child. For example : the care giver Should understand each child'needs, So that he/she can create a developmental continuum. Within that Knowledge that would help the child's progress, to be challenged and learn new things or reach Higher levels in learning.
