In order to fully understand where children are in their development you must observe over time, and observe them in a variety of settings. It is important to use the information gathered during observations on individual development to prepare appropriate curriculum.

To fully understand your kids in your care, you need to take time to observe them in a group setting as well as in a individual setting over a period of time within different activities/settings. The information you have gathered for each kid, you then will use to create appropriate curriculums for them.

agree with Ruth to understand the children in you're care, you need to take time to observe them in a group setting or in a project. Or in a individual setting over a period of time with different settings/ activities .Because each child develops at their own rate, we as providers need to be able to point that out so we can create appropriate curriculum for the child or children.

so that you can really understand the children you must observe them at all different times of the day and also with the different activities they do whether with other people or by them selves
