Depending on the age group that you are caring for will determine the kind of toys and activities that should be done for the children. You want toy that are educational as well as fun for the children. Blocks and puzzles are great items for children who are young and still learning about everything. You should have the room or center separated into different sections so the children can distinctly tell apart where objects go. Use furniture that is height appropriate for the age group. If you are caring for kids four years of age or younger the toys should not be small enough for them to potentially chock on.
