To help inspire children's learning, there have to be adequate materials that are easily used in scaffolding. As a Montessori program, we are frequently switching out activities that are used less often (we have far more materials that we can put in the classroom at once). In addition, teachers need to show an interest an excitement about the learning. That rubs off on the children. If the teacher isn't excited, the child won't be excited.
