There are several ways to observe your children in your classroom, here are some of them listed below: * anecdotal record - a written documentation describing a response of a child's behavior that is important to the observer. * checklist — keeping track of when a child reaches certain developmental milestones. * running record — notes detailing everything that occurs within a certain period of time. * tally event — a list that helps you know how often something is happening during the day or with a particular child. * photos & videotaping — using media to capture children's skills and strengths.
