In scenario number 1 Jamal a 10 month old baby is going through the separation anxiety stage, so every time the parents drop him off he starts to cry and clinch to them. In this scenario Jamal is acting age appropriate because he is starting to notice the difference between strangers and family. Explain to the parent that Jamal is just used to being with just them and coming here to get dropped off is just confusing to him. Although he has been coming here 4 months prior explain that you don't spend as much time with him as they do. Jamal is acting this way because its a stage or milestone in his development. One thing that I would suggest is to drop him off say your goodbyes, let him know everything will be okay and leave. Also make coming to the center a fun thing. Let the parents know that he will eventually grow out of it.
