1. A list of things that influence my thinking are my environment and surroundings, questions, books, community, past experiences, family and friends. 2. When people's point of view differ, they respond several ways. One common way is by sticking to their point of view and arguing for it. A second way is by changing their point of views and agreeing that the other person has a valid point and incorporating it into their beliefs. We are changing our points of views all the time. Things that influence our points of views are ideas and experiences that get us thinking and questioning our beliefs and perspectives.

Things that influence my thinking is the way my parents, my culture, my beliefs, friends, past experiences, music, and environment. When point of views differ, people tend to go either with their point of view and stick with it till the end or recognize that the other persons point of view has validation and completely turn to it or take parts of it and join it with their own. Yes, we are always learning and we should also being willing to change our views, when the new point of view is for the greater or better of the person, people, situation and/or area.

Communication is an essential element of family friendly care and extremely important to parents. Talking with administrators, staff, and other parents is the key to building relationships in centers. Staff should take the time to greet families at drop off in the morning and spend a few minutes chat at evening pickups. Parents and staff should share information about meaningful daily events related to the child, for infants and toddlers and older children there should be written communication to parents about the child’s daily activities, and parents should have more than one way to communicate with the center like phone calls and emails.
