I think it is very important for children to have a daily schedule and routine. The children thrive on knowing what to expect. Establishing a routine promotes the success of the child. Routines create a sense of security and self esteem. You can make your schedule according to the child's needs so they can rest and do independent quiet play when they maybe have been more active and need a break, establishing the proper routine may decrease children off task and getting into other things.
