Confidentiality is extremely important because the parent of the child in your program needs to know they can trust you as a caregiver. If their child has behavioral issues that you are addressing with the parent this will be confidential to the other parents. A possible outcome for not maintain confidentiality is the child being removed from your program by the parents, mistrust and a bad representation of your program.
