Professionalism is showing the same level of commitment to a task, no matter how tedious, boring, arduous, or challenging it may be. Whether it's your last week of work before retirement or you are in the middle of your career, you are present and capable and you are not just phoning it in.
An occupation may be a job that you are doing for some amount of time, but it may not be something that you feel passionate about. A profession connotes a job that one feels strongly about. For example, I would often say that my occupation was "administrative assistant," and very rarely I would say "accounting assistant" because to me, it was just an occupation. If I so chose, my occupation could have been customer service rep because I had not yet discovered a profession that I feel strongly about. In the future, I will say that I am a teacher or early childhood educator because it's something that I feel strongly about and I want to identify as.

Professionalism is demonstrating professional character, spirit, or methods at all times and with all types of people; staff members, parents, children, etc.
Profession is a livelihood you love to do and are passionate about, never get tired of talking about it, improving yourself in it, sharing it with others and have highly respect for it. Occupation is a job that helps you decide what you would like to do as a profession, almost like stepping stones to where you want to go. You may like it or not but it's definitely not what you want to do for the rest of your life.
