In order to communicate effectively you need to speak to the parent in a warm tone. Voicing concerns or praises in a positive and specific way. Giving examples of what you have noticed. Involve the families by first asking their opinions on the subject matter. A open honest conversation is non judgmental and realizing both you and the family want what is best for the child.
