There may be conflict when one party doesn't understand the methods of the other party. For example, if the family comes from a different culture from the child care provider, it might cause conflict because the child care provider may not understand the reasons that the family feeds their child certain foods or the values that they teach the child. It may be frustrating to see that because the child care provider may think that the family is not offering the kind of support he or she thinks the child needs, but in actuality, it is part of the culture of the family.
