There are also mental health issues that have passed physical health problems in children, it has become the most prevalent and disabling conditions facing children today, some of the most common and serious mental health conditions are ADHD and Autism, and with health policies and practices in place it will ensure that a child’s mental health needs are meet. Although mental health conditions can be treated in a health care setting, for many families the first point of contact is their children’s schools, but cooperation between children’s health care and education providers can be difficult for different reasons, like a child who ‘ages out’ or ‘drops out’ of school, and these children find themselves with nowhere to go for services or guidance, so policies need to be created to coordinate mental health care and delivery systems for children.
