An important aspect of a healthy partnership is conveyance of one's goals. When conflict arises, and even when it does not, both the families and the child care providers must acknowledge that both sides have the child's best interests at heart, and must each explain why they feel the way they do about their child's education. Clear and respectful communication of expectations and feelings is crucial for a family-provider partnership.
