"The responsibilities of staff and directors is to share the mission statement with children and families and this can be accomplished by posting the statement in a public place such as the parent center board, including in the program's handbook for staff and enrollment paperwork that is provided to new clients, and adding it to the program's website."

the best way for parents and caregivers to have a common understanding of the mission statement. It is more usefully posted in the handbook as well as place such a parent wall to keep in reminiscence.

ways to share the mission statement with families is by posting it in a public place (the parent center board may be a good place), including them in the program's handbook, adding it to the program's website.

Once a program's mission statement is written and shared, it is the responsibility of those who work within the program to keep it in mind as they provide day to day care and education for the children and families they serve. this can be done by placing the information on a webpage or information boards.

Staff are responsible for the parents knowing the mission statement. Ways to make sure it is communicated are posting it in a easily visible place or putting it on brochures/pamphlets.

Staff and directors need to make their mission statement available to the surrounding community, parents and their licensor through a program handbook, flyers and/or on their website.
