Some ways to share the mission statement with families is by posting it in a public place (the parent center board may be a good place), including them in the program's handbook, adding it to the program's website.

The responsibility assigned to the staff and directors is to keep the mission statement in their minds. Moreover, it is their responsibility to decide how they will share the mission statement as well as to ensure the mission statement is shared. Some places to share the mission statement include: posting the statement in a public area in the early learning environment, placing it in the program’s handbook, printing on flyers and adding it to the program’s newsletter or website.

Staff and director's responsibilities is to show to children and families what is the mission statement about. All staff in a child care must always remember their mission statement and apply it in everyday routine while working with children and families.

Your Mission Statement is a brief description of what your philosophy and beliefs are about your program and the basis of how you run it and your expectations. It is important that the families know this because they’re putting their kids life in your hands and should want them to know what your program is about so they can feel comfortable and know that your program is the right fit for their kid.

Sharing of the mission statement with the children and families can be done by posting in easily seen or accessible places such as the web page or by posting in the center.
