2.1. What adult responses to a child's or children's behavior have you have seen work well? I have seen one teacher help redirect a child's climbing behavior from an unsafe bookshelf to a tumble mat. The student was able to find the physical release that they needed and there was no negative interaction during the process.

When a group of children were arguing about riding a new scooter, a teacher explained the importance of taking turns and created a timer system for rotating the scooter between the children. This resolved the conflict, rewarded children for waiting patiently, and reinforced the idea of sharing.
