Per WAC, we must protect a child from being abused or neglected; we must immediately report instances of maltreatment to CPS and local law enforcement if needed. We need to make sure we are following the rules for contacting CPS. The director needs to manage staff and dismiss staff who are found to be guilty of maltreatment of children.
